Today i had to pick up some prescription medicine from walgreens. On my way from the car to the inside of the store 4 differnt people begged me for money. The first guy that begged me for money i told him that times are tough and im barely getting by myself so he decided to start calling me names so i just proceded to the store. The 2nd and 3rd people to beg where standing together and instead of asking for spare change they asked me if i could give them $5. I told them the same thing i told the first guy and they didnt say anything. The 4th and final guy i approached started begging for me to give him money for beer. I told him everyones hurting for money having anough money to survive is more important than spending it on a 6 pack. As i was waiting for my presciption i seen the 1st guy grab a chocolate bar from the rack. At first i was debating on saying something but then he ate it and threw it back in the rack so i said hey are you going to pay for that, he started mumbeling and just walked back out the door. When i was leaving the store i looked liquir store next door and seen the 2 people that asked for $5 coming out with lottery tickets and scratchers.

Sorry for the rant but im getting tired of people not just asking for change but people who beg for it and spend it on possesional items.

It's like that here too,I don't even waste my breath on most of them but there are the chosen few that have jerked my chain and got a reply they didn't like

here as well, also at a walgreens. hmmm

I'm seriously considering buying a pocket knife......

The other day at the self-service car wash right next to the wal greens, a guy came over from the wallgreens and asked me if he could wash my truck for $3 for a prescription. I thought about it for a couple of second, checked him for jitters or anything, decided i'd go ahead and let him. He did do a good job and I give credit on that- I kept a eye on him, guy was really friendly and enthusiastic, not the typical panhandler. I got a clean truck and he got his $3.

Then today, taking a friend there (needing vicodin, apendicitis), there was a guy sitting right outside the door. And he had every look of a thug, my friend and I both wondered at him, but he said nothing.

I hear y'all, but have any of you been to another country? If you think it's bad here, you should really count your blessings.

I was in Memphis last week getting my morning coffie at Mcdonalds (large with 4 creams better than starbu$ks.)
