Statement from Penske Racing "Due to Brad Keselowski's accident while testing at Road Atlanta yesterday, he will not participate in the NASCAR Nationwide Series race this weekend at Iowa Speedway. Parker Kligerman will practice the #22 Discount Tire Dodge Challenger on Friday, while Sam Hornish Jr. will qualify and race the car on Saturday. According to Roger, Discount tire is already sold on Parker taking over for ?Brad in most races next year. They are still trying to get alliance to sponsor Sam next year. I guess Roger feels he is footing the bill for Parker in the truck, so Sam should get some seat time. He's very loyal, as Sam has been to him.

The new NW rules are turning into a boon for drivers who couldn't make it in cup.

I've had both broken and severly sprained ankles before, Brad's ankle looked extremely painful. It usually hurts worse a couple of days after the initial injury. It looks like a pair of slippers would be far more comfortable than a pair of Piloti's.

Parker's a good driver... got beaten in the ARCA championship by, well, ARCA's rule book.

It'll be interesting to watch Kligerman, Allgaier and Stenhouse in Cup in a few years (assuming NASCAR doesn't find another way to kill series growth).
