Patrick Swayze died today after a long battle with cancer. He was 57.

Swayze was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in January 2008.

He was the star of such movies as "Ghost," "Dirty Dancing," and "Road House." Swayze was named People's Sexiest Man Alive in 1991

I took dancing lessons from his mom, Patsy when I was young. I vaguely remember her bringing Patrick to the studio when he was very small.
The movie "Ghost" always has me in tears.

RIP, Patrick.
 
Red Dawn is still one of my favorite movies.

Rest in peace.
 
He was great in Point Break and Ghost. I didn't care for most anything else he did, but he certainly had a huge following.

Cancer is one hell of a way to go. I've seen it first hand and I wouldn't wish it on anybody.
 
I love every movie he did. Point Break being on the bottom of the list.
He was great in To Wong Foo Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar.
So was Wesley Snipes and John Leguizamo.
 
BREAKING NEWS: Kanye just interrupted Patrick Swayze's funeral to let everyone know that Michael Jackson's was better!!
 
As Oda Mae Brown said: He's stuck, that's what it is. He's in between worlds. You know it happens sometimes that the spirit gets yanked out so fast that the essence still feels it has work to do here.
