We grew ours in 5 gal buckets and big, cheap plastic planters from Home Depot.......you can grow some if you have some sun and a little water!! They do have water in Tehachapi, don't they?

Nope. Actually though, it just costs alot of money to grow tomatos. It has been a really hot summer so alot of plants didn't make it. We got some good tomatos but it took alot of watering.
