Looks as if The Penske to dodge rumor is getting closer to being a fact.

...and even More Penske to Dodge talk: There are more indications of a Penske move from Ford to Dodge next season. According to team sources, more than three dozen Dodge engine blocks have been delivered to Penske South. A Penske move to Dodge would, according to team sources, be part of much larger business venture between Penske and Mercedes, which is DaimlerChrysler's top-of-the-line car. Penske already has extensive business ties with Mercedes, and he is expanding his Mercedes dealerships which are run under the United Auto Group (UAG).(Winston Salem Journal). I think all that is left is for this to become official....
 
The 2003 Ford body must suck. First Craven's team, now Penske. Leaving Roush, Yates and Woods and a few others.
 
I look at it in 2 ways TNwardfan, Either these teams are looking at Dodge or other manufacturers as a better option, or the recieving manus. are paying these teams good $$$ to switch...
 
That would be totally AWESOME if PENSKE left FORD! I would actually MAYBE root for cRUSTY! :satisfied
 
Good.Thats more Ford money for Jack Roush.I wonder how Ryan feels about that,He seems to run good with the Fords.:)

The reason Penske is going to Dodge ,and he is, is 20Mil.$$$$ from chry. All dodge engines will come fron penske. Source is from a Father whose son works for the #2 race car.

In my opinion Ford has sucked since they got rid of the Thunderbirds in the 90's.
 
And the plot thinkens! Heard a similar rumor out of Newman's camp a while back this summer. We'll see I guess....
 
Yeah I heard about that too EJL. I am nearly postive that they will switch too. Looks like Dodge wants some class A engines along with another great team...
 
UHoh FORD! LOOKS AS IF the DODGE BOYS ARE TAKING OVER! Thats the way it should be....since in the Model-A and T days DODGE designed and built most of their engines anyway! DODGE MADE FORD!

:p :p :p :p :p I would expect this from a bowtie fanatic,Ford ain't goin anywhere when it comes to Nascar.Rusty in a dodge will equal the same results,And Ryan will blow up a Dodge as easy as he blows ford motors.Would all the crybabies report to the Dodge camp asap!:D

WANNA BET? Its happening sooner than you think! Ford is loosing THIER REIN on NASCAR! And it sounds to me that YOU are being the CRYBABY!

Ford is and alway will be the CRYBABY of NASCAR! When ever Chevy, Dodge or Pontiac make a change due to the fact that FORD is dominating....FORD cries "We need a change too!" So then even when those other manufacturers make a change it still wouldn't matter. Chevy has Raced their asses off to be able to compete this year, and the same for Pontiac. I think Nascar Favors Fords! One reason is there is more of them. If Penske does go Dodge...than that makes them about even with Chevy for better competition.
 
Does not Chevy,and Pont.have more Winston Cups than Ford in the last 5 yrs?Your guy drives a Chevy I believe.If they want concessions stop winning so much.I truly like both Ford,And Chevy.I have had good,and bad of both.I will throw my crying towell in to this debate,I have found that it is a waste of energy to argue differant makes.I wish you,and your driver the best of luck. :)
