Ever since they got the dolphins taken out of my tuna I've had a problem with animal rights activists. I happened to like a little dolphin in my tuna. It gave it a little better taste.:eek:
 
not on peta's side at all............animals are needed for food......back in the prehistoric days...food, shelter, clothing..........the hell with peta.........do they gripe about the leather shoes they are wearing? leather wallet they carry etc.......

furs well they keep you warm..just my opinion........
 
I have some serious gripes with PETA...not just because I need and love meat, but some of the tactics they resort to to try and get their point across scare the heck out of me.
 
Just be a responsible pet owner, hunter, help save abused or neglected animals!

Eat you meat and fish, wear fur (just not from endangered species), please do not buy ivory, leather does not come from abused animals, Dolphin free tuna is better, and on and on.

PETA just goes too far for me.

My opinion....

I try to kill as few living things as possible as I go through my day.

Nothing wrong with killing for food, as we're carnivores. Just me, I don't find enjoyment in killing things.
 
My philosophy is to take only what you need and will use. Look at the rest and leave something for the next person. Some of these PETA activists, scare me, with their mass releasing of animals, paint splashing and other tactics.
 
PETA actions are scary. Animals should not be abused or neglected, but I see nothing wrong in wearing leather or eating meat.

Most hunters I know, shoot only what they plan to eat. They don't kill just for the sake of killing.
 
I only kill what I plan on eating or pests who are causing destruction, such as groundhogs.
 
i am a plants rights activist. we need to protect the plants. they have a lot of good things to contribute for us and we need to protect them. example, plants put off oxygen, animals put off what? i need to help to save my friends and protect the plants:D
 
I belive we should protect an endangered animal. But these Peta nuts go way beyond that. And the way they go about it is like somebody already said scary.
 
PETA can kiss every square inch of my happy redneck derierre.

As to hunting, I hunt only what I am willing to eat, which limits it to frogs. I also fish, and eat what I catch or release it.

I do and will kill every snake I see. Legless, shoulderless reptiles have no rights, particularly in my yard.

As to the protection thing, I do my dead level best to follow this simple rule when in the outdoors: Take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints.

PETA has no clue. How many times do they interfere with the natural selection process, or by removing an animal from its natural habitat caused harm to its system?

I'm a Person who is all for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. But I also think that animals are something more than "resources" that we can manage better than they can manage alone. Plus, I also happen to believe that there is a Higher Authority who has been managing them just fine for a few thousand years without the help of some nut from Seattle or where ever.
 
Sorry but I do not like PETA because of what they havee been doing. They are like terroriest in there own way. Other wise i do like to help animals and the are other helpful organizations out there like SPCA is really good. I do not like PETA or ALF. Those are like terroriest groups. I have done research on them they are bad news.

I hate PETA... didn't they drop paint on people wearing fur? in a way that is worse. if someone dropped paint on me I would sue them, and then buy me another fur coat. let us eat what we want.. meat is food and everyone needs food!
 
I like my stake pink in the middle and I do not know what I would do without my leather belt. The hell with canvas.
 
I must agree with everyone here. Apparently PETA has never heard of a food chain. And why are they more concerned with animals than they are with humans? I don't hunt, rarely fish. The only things I generally kill here are Misquitos, living in Minnesota, thats called survival :)
