After i posted earlier I went down to make sure the idiot horses water hadn't froze. We do have those automatic thingys but,,,,
'Koda looked at me and said sure would be nice to go for a ride in the snow. Dammm near froze to death but 1 horse power is still pretty exciting. :D
For a 32 year old quarter horse he can still step up to the plate. Deniro is a 19year old thorobred, can't hold a candle to 'Koda.:D
It was 19 degrees, hope my moustache thaws out before it falls off!

Cats (in order of seniority)

Smokey
Neptune (deaf, smokey's grandson)
Radar (tri-pod, Neptunes daughter)
Rusty
Midnight (kitten)

And Bowzer the dog.

Here's three of them trying desperately to keep warm. Neptune napping, Rusty telling me to get rid of the camera, Bowzer just not even caring.

We've got 4 cats and a rat as our current pets. We have had frogs, toads, gerbils, hamsters, mice, birds, and others. I actually have 5 cats at this very moment, but that is only because we feel bad for one stray in particular. We feed her outside daily, but only let her in when it is really cold outside (like single digits).

Well, you all know I have two blue point Siamese kitties since I have a whole section about them! Misha still isn't crazy about Sammy. I think if he wouldn't jump on her she wouldn't mind it so much. :D Although, he's been pretty quiet and cuddly the last week after getting fixed. I had a seal point Siamese for 16 yrs before I got Misha.

I had a tri-color Shepherd/Sheltie++ mix up until this past June when it was her time. We adopted her from the Humane Society as a stray and they figured she was 3-4 and the vet said 2-3, so I kind of fixed on 3. We had her almost 16 years, so she had a good long time with us. I still miss the little things like if you drop a crumb, she's not there to lap it up so you have to actually pick it up. LOL

My daughter has a blue tongue skink which is a lizard that has sort of a snake-like body. He doesn't do much of anything. Not a very exciting pet to say the least although Sammy was interested in him when my daughter gave him a soak a couple of weeks ago. Oh yeah, and Sammy really likes our fish who are inside for the winter since my pond isn't deep enough.

I've had cats and a dog pretty much my whole life. The kids had gerbils, hamsters, rats, and my goofy daughter with the skink used to have a scorpion. I never heard of a skink before and when I was telling her sister she got it, I told her her sister got a "skank." LOL

This was Jade

Can you all help me out? We just got a new kitty on 12/23 (we had to put our 16 year old dog to sleeep over the summer). He has started sneezing last night and today. He's eating a little and has urinated in his box. He is cuddling a lot, too. From what friends/family members are telling me the sneezing is very common when animals come from shelters. I was going to take him to a vet tomorrow to get him checked out. Have you experienced this? Should I be taking him to an emergency vet tonight?

It's not unusual for kitten to sneeze. Ours did so for a few weeks and it soon ended. You can ask your vet about it though if you are worried.

.

Sammy's been doing the same thing. He started a few days ago and I was worried about him yesterday, but while he's still sneezing, he seemed a lot better today (yesterday.) As long as it keeps eating and doesn't get too much discharge, hopefully, it will pass. If he seems to be struggling too much, gets other symptoms and stops eating, you might want to check in with your vet.

I got my kitten the sat.before christmas and she sneezed also.now not as much.but she is fine now.

hope this works.here's a pic of Belle.

This was my sweetie pie, Morgan. I had to put her down on 5 Nov 2007 (she was 11 y/o). I miss her dearly.
