The Phillies' three-game winning streak was snapped yesterday in a 3-2 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers at Citizens Bank Park, but not before a streaker, clutching only his pants, ran onto the field before the top of the seventh inning, according to the PHILADELPHIA INQUIRER.

Security and police officers tackled the man on the outfield grass near second base. The Philadelphia police took him to the South Detective Division for booking. Police did not release the man's name last night but said he is a 21-year-old from New Jersey.

"I just couldn't believe it," leftfielder Pat Burrell said. "That's a pretty confident move."

"Actually, I got real blushed and I wasn't trying to look," manager Charlie Manuel said kiddingly.

The man, who from a distance appeared to have a beard and mustache but otherwise had a vague resemblance to Will Ferrell in the movie Old School, is expected to be charged with criminal trespass, indecent exposure and other offenses. He faces up to a year in prison or a $2,500 fine if convicted.

The man apparently jumped over the left-field wall and ran onto the field. The crowd roared as he made his way to the infield. "That guy has some issues," rightfielder Shane Victorino said. "I don't know what I'd do if he had come at me. I'd outrun him."
