lol That isn't subtle at all. I've often wondered if Kurt's many mentions of 'getting on the shop floor and turning wrenches with the guys was genuine.

It's clearly AJ on the hood;)

I posted this in the domino thread.

I've told yall, there isnt a subtle bone in James Finch's body, said he was going to send him a message on the car and he did. I expected it to be a single finger, knowin James.

Right or wrong I like Finch, he is just plain old what see you see is what you get. Unpolished and tragically out of step with Nascars current model. But he has invested a lot of money in racing, when ever he does leave, I will miss him.

The only way James is going to completely give up racing is when we are having a big ass drunken wake for him, period. May be forced to return to trucks or NW but give it up altogether, never, he will find a way.

James Finch should point the finger at himself.
Afterall, he's the guy who hired Kurt in the first place, right?

As you've been told before, there is no end to your dumbassery.

Thank you Kurt. You have served many race teams very well.

This is two thumbs up you idiot....

while many will be applauding mr finch gor "sending a message" to kurt busch i think he is a bigger immature stupid phony. like robby said he was the one who put busch in the car, and he shouldnt act like he didnt know what he was getting. finch himself said all year he didnt know if he would have the finiances to run all year. so when KB leave for a more competitive finiancially stable team he is the bad guy? finch should thanking kurt for getting the most he could out of the junk finch gave him. kurt got him a top 3 at sonoma and a win in the nationwide daytona race. something that probably wouldnt have happened without kurt.

also finch is just phony as kurt. when finch hired kurt he was boasting his own ego about how he was old school and if kurt screwed up he would just fire him. well? kurt got suspended, but finch welcomed him back with open arms. something tells me that if the 78 deal didnt open up for kurt finch would still be giving him a ride without saying ****.

now this little stunt? just finch using kurts name for one last publicity stunt. i mean wasnt that what hiring kb was in the first place?

Err, Finch said the exact opposite of what you say he said. He said they may roll in the dirt, but they had an agreement to see it through to the end.

you sir are correct. i went back and researched his qoutes. i think i got that from an article and took them for finch's words. i still think he needs to be thanking kurt for the success he did have this year. taking jabs at him makes him seem like just as big of an ass as Kurt. IMHO.

Finch had success this year????????????

27th in cup owner points, 1 top 3, 2 top 10s, and a NNS win is very respectable for a very underfunded team.

would have been way worse without busch.
Way worse?????? Finch has to build all new cars now that Kurt is gone.If you think those numbers are respectable for the number of races they run this year then I think you are easily amused my friend.

more! More!! MORE!!!
Kurts average finish would have been way higher, had he not crashed in so many races(some of which were not his fault)
Finch said on several occassions that he and the crew were 100% behind Kurt and wanted him to stay in the racecar. Was he lying then or lying now?
Finch has to build new racecars for next year anyway, everyone does.

Not a Kurt fan here but if you have your owner publicly questioning whether or not he can continue to field a car and you get an offer from another team I can see why Kurt would make the decision he did. The smiley face thing, while funny, seems a little childish to me but I can sure understand his relief of getting rid of that baggage.

Wrecking 14 cars is not success. Calling James out for not having more cars after wrecking 14 cars is not very damn smart.

He isnt lying, the problem he has with Ku Bu is him saying the reason he was leaving early was that the cars James has are old junk and the crew and parts arent up to date, as well as getting a head start on next year. James had no problem with him getting a head start on next year, the problem was crashing 14 cars then he belittled James and the team because the only cars he has left are 4 years old. If he had just kept his mouth shut and left there would not be a problem between them.

DP you commented about this in another thread, said KuBu should of just left without the barbs at James, that burning bridges was never smart, or some such comments.

I certainly could have because I agree with that. It's not smart to burn bridges in NASCAR IMO. Especially if you're last name is Busch.

They probably should have both parted without the sorts of comments that you've mentioned or smiley faces. ;)

I love the whole thing. Kurt taking shots at Finch, then bailing and playing grab ass with the crew after his whacky display at Talladega. I thought Finche's response here was perfect. Smile and move on.

Here's something to chew on. Kurt has been dying to get in HMS equiptment. If he were still with Finch, would he have had a chance to sub for Jr? The obvious answer may seem to be no, he wouldn't. What if Kurt was available? Would Jr opt to jump in the car for the first run, then let Kurt take over and keep him in the top 5 hunt?

I would hope not.
