Anyone have any knowledge on who's fast in Phoenix has anybody posted any speeds out there on social media?

Its a wheel force transducer car. Its basically a big load cell that the tire is mounted to. It measures lateral and vertical force, camber, slip angle, relative position for wheel and body and their movements. Basically this is some of the data the engineers use for their simulations.

No Ford transducer equipped car? That seems odd.

Happy with my TRD powered Toyota Racing Camry young guns. Improved between sessions, and the 77 is happy with long run speed. Please don't ask me if I would prefer that they be on the top of the leaderboard because the answer would be HELL YES! ....but it's just testing. LOL. :D

Interesting that JGR / FR sent their two least experienced drivers. I suspect they were less interested in what was being tested and more interested in working on driver-crew communications and general seat time.

It'll take me a few minutes for my eyes to readjust after that popping up.:p
LOL I just realized it posted that large. I attached that as a screenshot from my phone and it looked normal at the time.

Sorry guys!

Carl was scheduled, Why wouldn't NASCAR give the rookies time? I think it is because they didn't think of it. Seriously.

I'm not sure what you mean by 'give the rookies time'. They're shown as 10th and 14th on the results above.

Give them extra practice time. Offseason testing should be allowed for rookies. Make them better. Good for the sport. Erik was 6th and Daniel 12th in the afternoon session. It's going to be fun to watch these guys grow.

77 picked up 2 tenths, and the 19 4 tenths. Respectable lap times for Daniel....dude has never been in a Cup car.

You can't do that because of the multi car teams. If you gave Chase extra time, you don't think he would be doing some things to help the #48 and #88????
They are suppose to stay in the lower leagues to learn their trade and then come to cup and hone the craft they learned. Those Xfinity drivers can race a few times in Cup as a 5th team car.

....and the Xfinity rookie test begins today in Phoenix.....

Suarez within a tenth of Jones. Interesting. This Daniel Suarez story is going to be fascinating. I repeat. Never been in a Cup car. Sixth best lap of test.

You know running a fast lap by yourself is totally different than in the crowd.
