Got my pictures from this weekend's World Finals up.

Go to www.luvracin.com, click on the Writers and Photographers button, then on my name (Larry Burnett) for all my shots.

You can also got to the North Carolina page and click on the Racing Photos button, and see pictures from myself, LarrE and Big Mack.

Nice shots. I hate day races, but they provide some great photo ops.

Just wondering about something. What length of lens did you shoot with from the infield? I may go over there one of these years and need to know if my lens is long enough.

At night I mostly used my 28-75 2.8, but had problems with auto-focus. The track is so well let I probably could have used my longer (but smaller apreture) lense more. But, even when I did use it most of the shots were around 135 or so. You are a good bit from the track compared to other places Ive been to though.

Wish I had a 70-200 2.8 lens though:)

Yeah, that's what I've noticed on the TV broadcasts from there. But since perspective is a little different on TV, I didn't know if that's how it really was or not.

Great photos Larry. Sorry we missed each other. I ended up standing under the signs in turns 1 & 2. So much for the comfort of the grandstands :D

Great shots! We have a 70-200 on mom's DSL and i dont think she's taken it off yet. I have a Canon SX10IS, 5-100mm digital (up to 560 @ 35mm equiv) 20X zoom, with a 4x zoom on top of that, for a total of 80x. But at that point, focus is an afterthought.....
