This was on another forum and I wondered which track the forum members here would like to see added. I suspect that the answers will be altogether different here as there are more younger members on this forum.

OK, this is the question. If you could add one track to the schedule that is currently NOT on the schedule, which track would you add:

Pikes Peak International, a really great 1 mile track in Colorado Springs CO.

I saw USAC, Busch, Trucks and Southwest Tour there. Really nice facilities!!!

OK, my pick is Laguna Seca. Best road track in North America.

I would like to see them race some where unique like at Burke Lakefront Airport in Cleveland, OH or at the Isla Grande Airport in Purto Rico.

I agree with you, a lot of other racing leagues race at Laguna Seca, bout time NASCAR takes a hack at it, I mean, it's a good move for both NASCAR and the track itself because the track would reel in lots of money because it sees these many races a year.

Other than that I think some good tracks to add would be The Monaco Street course which is on the F1 schedule and the Infield road course at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, now that would be nice !

My vote is for Pikes Peak International also. I have been to busch, trucks and Irl races there, great track. Plus its only a few miles from my house.

Laguna Seca Would Be Great and even possibly a dirt track >> Eldora would be a great one!

I would go with Pikes Peak or Kentucky but Laguna Seca would be an interesting race...if them boys think Infineon is bad...lol

Any track except for milwaukee. The road course in Brainard Minnesota would be awesome but I doubt nascar would add a 3rd road course.

Actually now that i Think about it some where really small like South Boston would be so cool too.

They could add a street course in Miami or New York. Now that would be cool.

I'm liking all the interest in road coarses we are seeing on this thread. I love watching Infineon and Watkins Glen races!

I also like the South Boston Idea. Roadies and Short Tracks are my favorites now a days!!!

Anything, as long as it is a road course or short track.

North Wilksboro
Amen. [/b][/quote]
wouldn't that bring bach some good memories !!!

My first choice is Milwaukee because of it's proximity to me. But a nice dirt track like Du Quoin, Il would be a fun place to watch a Cup race.

If Milwaukee could redo the track I would love to see a race there because of proximity also. But I went there this year and saw the busch and truck races and they were fairly action less. Just alot of single lane racing.

Anything besides another rp track or cookie cutter, But not to be specific just another road course. I think there should be the same amount or more dates at road courses then rp tracks .

how about we run on the old beach course? Now tha would be an exciting race...

I doubt that would happen so how about st. louis, pikes peak or irwindale?

Road America. Heck, they've had a Cup race in the past. Tim Flock got his final victory at the only Winston Cup Road America race held, in 1956.

Ok, it seems like adding a road track is by far the preferred additional track to be added and Laguna Seca is the preferred road track (which I totally agree with).:)

It is good to see so many road track fans in Nascar. I would like to see 2 to 4 more (different) road tracks added to (or replace some of the cookie-cutter) the schedule.

I too would prefer another road course as I think it's one of the few times during the race season where driver skill really comes into play, but if not...the Houston Superspeedway...ready in 2005!! (and just 10 miles from my house :p )

Leguna Seca!!!!!!!!!

Kentucky would be my second choice, close to home( 2 hours)
