Pick this weeks RF favorite quote, week ending 6/8/14.

The nominees are posted below, simply pick your favorite.
You only have one vote.
If you want it to count as your favourite vote, be specific. If the panel feels like you are too ambiguous, and have no clear favorite no vote will be recorded on your behalf. It should also be noted that for simplicity, you can vote by the assigned quote numbers.

IF THIS GOES VIRAL AND BECOMES A CULTURAL PHENOMENON, WITH AN OVERWHELMING RESPONSES OF AT LEAST 7 VOTES, an elimination poll may be created on Thursday to settle on the most worthy quote.
However if one quote is clearly favored, no poll will follow.

I DIDNT POST THIS AS A POLL because
1. To hard for me to reduce it all down to only 10 quotes.
2. I tried to read as many quotes as possible, apologies for any omissions that were otherwise worthy.

The nominations are as follows:

1.
I say be a REAL man and settle it on twitter! Forget this pansy face to face crap.
140 characters? **** just got real.

2.
Just wait till Eldora. Everyone will love the trucks again.

3.
First KFC Commercial.....the TNT Summer Series is officially underway!

4.
The wife is forcing me to go outside and sit on the dock with a fishing rod to see if a flounder or speckled trout is hungry and want's to be dinner. I'll come in for the green though.

5.

HE'S THE BEST DRIVER EVER! In truck and Nationwide.
edit "in truck and Nationwide" was originally posted in fine print by SP

9.
now i'm starting to think like kyle petty....help me please

10.
Don't bet on it. If #24 was the only race car on the track, the pace car would get the blame.

11
Maybe she shouldn't have drank so much water before the race...she'll have to hold it for 72 more laps.

12
It seems like it always does for me when i'm on a racing forum while i'm trying to watch the race. But, I'm trying to perfect my multitasking abilities...i'm getting better...I can drink beer and pee at the same time now.

13.
This thread will be back after a word from racing forums sponsers.

Remember kids, Pocono isn't exciting

15
Holiday in Gooberville tommorow as the Anointed One Wins...

16
Solid Top-37 for Danica today.

17
Brad Keselowski breaks his ankle, wins at Pocono.
Dale Earnhardt, Jr. inadvertently breaks Dustin Long's ankle, wins at Pocono.
Bottom line: be responsible for someone's broken ankle, win at Pocono.

18
I bet JGR sends all its drivers to Pocono with BOTH ankles broken next year.

19
Kasey is the quiet type...one day he will just explode and walk into a McDonalds with a large bag of m&ms and just start throwing them at people randomly.

When I was young I asked my uncle why Ward Burton talked funny while Jeff Burton didn't. He told me the Burtons were poor and Jeff got to go to school as a kid while Ward had to pick cotton. I believed that probably a lot longer than I should have before I finally looked it up and found the true story.

F1 competition would give Patrick an opportunity to display her incredible talent on an international stage. Haas should make all efforts to get her there as quickly as practical. As a side benefit, she could find a companion to replace the guy driving for Roush.

Janet Guthrie made her 14th start in cup competition at the track currently nicknamed and marketed as the “Tricky Triangle.” She became the first woman qualify 10th in the division at the facility, a record that still stands. In the race, she lost a position, eventually finishing 11th. With her almost top ten finish she became the first woman driver to post a top 11 finish at Pocono. That record still stands as well.

After two failures, this afternoon, weather permitting, Patrick will make her third assault on Guthrie’s record.

In her first race at the facility in cup, Patrick improved on her 30th starting spot with a 29th place finish. The start was her 24th in cup competition

The August race on the track that saw Denny Hamlin win both races in his first full season of cup competition, and first appearances at the facility in any division, found Patrick posting a 35th after qualifying 34th. Unfortunately, she wrecked out of the event. She had been firmly holding a position in the top five of the bottom half of the field at midrace prior to her departure from the day’s competition. With that, Patrick became the first woman to wreck out of a cup race at Pocono.

This is my first time on here and I'm glad to see you are enjoying it. I'm sure I will have just as much fun and enjoy being on here myself

A reply to that one had me cracking up. It said something like the people would just think he was being generous. Sadly it didn't make the cut this time.

17, 19, 20, 24. I missed the race thread this week for the most part so this helped.

LMAO.. too........ as in there is another person who voted for #7.... not that Im picking that as well as the other one... Im changing my vote....... maybe context is easier to read in Canada? :idunno: :p
Then delete your other comment, or say "change vote to ______" in the second post :p makes sense that you'd be the first to make the ambiguous answer. Eh. :D

Nope... I dont care enough... worst case scenario my vote goes uncounted... big whoop.

No big deal, and I am sure some think we are silly or shallow, etc. Different strokes for different folks.

However if you do have a single favorite it is enough to specify that point.

:XXROFL: Who's gona start the "Does Sliced even care anymore?" thread?

It seems to me Slice just don't care anymore. He doesn't post about Joey as often and he spends to much of his time at work instead of here. Does Slice even care anymore?
