Pick your memorial day favorite RF quotes.
Note: Greg used no scientific methods to pick the quotes, just what seemed like the best zingers.
And yes it is shallow indulgence, but just pick one as a favorite.
Or any quote by Mr Gregory's Avatar.....

You prolly weren't turning 9 grand when the bearing took a crap.
This race is like watching The Titanic DVD with deleted scenes added.
It may actually stay green, the TV window is about to close.
Commercials breed cautions
Assbag in the NASCAR booth just blew the DVR'd Indy race for me
JJ had the fastest car all night he deserves the win tonight. Job well done for the #48 team. Now im thoroughly convinced that nascar payed JJ off to hold back till charlotte (stated many many weeks ago). The fix is in my friends.
Really, Harvick's reaction today, Kyle and Kurt's tantrums, Tony throwing the helmet at Matt, Mears getting socked in the eye, etc.; this is why we tune in week after week, no matter how hard Brian tries to destroy our sport. We watch because we understand and appreciate the passion. This is our sport. We pay the bills. Our guy isn't always the fastest but we'll watch and cheer him on no matter what. Life is good.
(Then some #$@%^&* like me will come along and bag on your driver.)
I bet Brian France is buying a hot dog right now just so he can throw the wrapper out on the track.
Malcolm Smith spoke at my high school in 1972 and it was like Jesus was in the building.
A pit road member could run out & take a **** on the front stretch & nascar will lean on the caution button
I raced desert in SoCal in the 70s (on my husky 250). I was pretty good (AMA expert).
He went by me one time and it was like I was standing still. I couldn't even contemplate going that fast and having any control over the bike.
I don't think strategy will mean much when it comes time for the shootout caution.
It was a very excite! 8.86
Anyone not giving this year's Indy 500 a high rating might need to go see a doctor. You might, in fact, be dead.
I was at a family lake cottage with just an intermittent cell connection, so I couldn't chime in live with you folks here, but I watched it (thank god for OTA TV).
10 for the race.
10 for the winner.
Despite all the issues the IndyCar series has year after year, they still put on a show at Indianapolis and earn the moniker " Greatest Spectacle in Racing". If you didn't like the last six laps, you don't like racing.
I'm just going to walk to the refrigerator and back to my recliner. Times like now is when i really wish i had a dog that i had trained to fetch.
Yep, and the pre race has been really good. I know i will get a little teary eyed when Jim Nabors sings Back Home Again In Inidiana for the last time.
I remember sitting out under the shade tree with my Dad listening to the race on the radio. Dad would have his clipboard tracking the race events. I wish I had those race notes now.
The Indy 500 has always and will always be my favorite race. Since i was born and raised just a few miles from Indianapolis and had Gary Bettenhausen as a neighbor when i was in my 20s, this race always brings back a lot of great memories. Sometimes i regret not pursuing a career in Indy car racing instead of drag racing.
Wow...that was a quick 250 miles...don't these IndyCar officials know about debris on track?
A debris caution for actual debris.
GREAT FINISH !!
(they love Beccy)
and Robby Gordon's sister is married to the winner
The Andretti curse lives!
Did ABC just sign off the air without showing a full field rundown? Nice. But hey, RHR's wife is hot, so, priorities.
My plan today is to do absolutely nothing except watch racing and eat food that isn't good for me
