Two teenage brothers died in a single-vehicle traffic accident that took place about 7:15 a.m. today on the Newport Highway about 7.2 miles southwest of Greeneville.
The victims were identified as Skyler Neas, 16, and Dakota Neas, 14, both of St. James Road, by William “Tracy” Lane, a Greene County-Greeneville Emergency Medical Services shift supervisor.
The Neas brothers were apparently enroute from their grandfather’s residence on West Allens Bridge Road to West Greene High School at the time the fatal accident took place, said Sheriff’s Sgt. Terry Rader, who investigated the fatal accident.
