Anyone ever camp at Pocono in the infield. If so,how was it and were the facilities ok?

I'm thinking about going to Pocono in August, but hotels are expensive as ****. Looks like a trip to Pocono would run me about $400 plus ga$ from La Plata to New York.

We stayed there about six years ago and the facilities were nothing to speak of. They did have shower trucks then. I am not sure what their current configuration is but..... A great place to go get your NASCAR camping questions answered is here. There are some really good people on that board that can answer your questions. I just wonder if the above offer from March is still on the table?
I'm very seriously considering Pocono in August but I don't know yet.
