Pole, Pole!

Jeff is on a roll and that is for sure. :) It appears like his determination this year is at an even higher level.

Oh look..Jeff Gordon is going to start 1st. LOL

Good deal.

Is the presentation of the Nextel Cup to Gordon at Richmond going to be televised or are they going to do a private ceremony?

I know the year in which Newman won a bunch of races AND poles, they didn't show a thing about handed him the cup.

:D :D Jeff is on a roll and the non-fans are upset. :D :D

Go Jeff................................:p

4 Toyotas made the show... Dave Blaney got a top 10 start.

Things are looking up for Toyota this week...

:D :D Well, I can see where you at least appreciate talent as you evidently were a fan of Terry Labonte and Davey Allison. ;) :)

Kelloggs isn't there yet. We are working on it, LOL. Gordon will be next for us. Right now we are working on Dr Phil.:beerbang:

Thank you, sir.

So if I'm reading the numbers right then Vickers, Schrader, Waltrip, and Mayfield would take the places of Sadler, Gilliland, RGordan and Menard if you go by speed. Jarrett, Lapage and Bliss were just too slow. I like Schrader but it doesn't look like a big loss either way, IMO.

Ugh, I dont remember Newman having a hot streak of top fives, leading the points and winning from poles...your points were invalid. :)

The fact that you don't remember is what is invalid.

From 09/21 - 10/19, 2003 Newman had 5 straight top 5's with 2 wins. He also won 11 poles during 2003 and won from the pole twice

Jeff Gordon currently has 5 straight top 5's with 2 wins, both from the pole.

And the points lead....

The Broadcasters seen to make it important when the driver is leading the points, even more so with that huge points lead..add that together with how good he is doing and you get a fuzz.

Nice try, reck :)

Huh?

You still didn't respond Newman failing to having the points lead despite those wins...matter of fact is if you're not leading you dont get probs.

Plus Newman is not exactly an attention grabber.

JMO, but he may just be the best driver with no personality (next to Matt).

I think Matt has a wonderful personalilty. He is what he is, no pretending. He does have the tendency to speak to fast. :D He's a great driver. :)
I think Newman's a great driver, just don't understand his personality, yet. I think he is a brillant person.
