LOT'S of racing this weekend.

Which race are you looking forward to the most, and why? Is it because you feel it will produce the most exciting racing? Please, share.

I voted for Indy, because this years especially, it's so special. Charlotte? Just another race.

i plan on watching them all, if possible. i've always followed the indy 500. there's just something special about it for those in the midwest. it's the home track.

I'm a NASCAR fan first, but not on Memorial weekend. The Indy 500 is THE race to watch.

I'm just glad both the 500 and 600 don't overlap like they did in the 80's and early 90's. No dvrs back then. It was a tough choice to make.

It isn't a tough choice for me. I used to work the 500 and really got tired of it. I have always been a stock car fan.

Enjoy the races Sunday.

What the hell does that have to di with the poll?

I'm watching now, this announcer is the worst in all of sports. Worse than NHL ON VS, worse than Weber. And he doesn't know **** about any sport.

I was excited about this race when I turned it on but this is the unwatchable.

I voted for the Tornados 100 powered by On The Run at ODS (my local track) but it'll get rained out since I have a 2-5 record this year with weather.

Seriously?!?! Brad Doty doesn't know **** about racing?!?! Seriously!?!?!

You need to pay attention to what Brad says. He is the most knowledgeable sprint car commentator there is. You should also ready his book "Wide Open." But when one doesn't know anything about sprint cars (i.e., you), you wouldn't have any idea of what the commentator's calling. Most sprint car fans have nothing but respect for Brad, and are happy to see him calling the races on TV.

Honestly, I enjoy these guys. They did "the Summer of Money" a couple years ago, and always do a good job.

But them the is Andy "gripes about anything" Marquis we're talking about.

Nevermind, they were rebroadcasting last years race. I take back everything I said.

Typical SPEED: World of Outlaws pays of millions of dollars to air this race, it gets postponed and we move it to an online stream on a website you have to pay to watch it on.

They kept referring to last night's Nationwide race elsewhere. I didn't realize this was a rebroadcast of an online stream from a year ago.

I'm going to watch NASCAR. Open wheel pretty much died with the Cart/IRL split. The Indy 500 is not what it used to be or stand for (just my opinion).

I still don't get it. Yes, it's last years race. But it's still Brad Doty, and he's still doing a great job.

He kept talking about races that hadn't happened yet saying they had happened and races that weren't being run this season.

Shame that WoO pays SPEED to cover races and they don't because it gets pushed back 24 hours. WoO needs to go to VS. They did this with Knoxville last year.

Good article I just found here:

Indy or Coke? Both have a case

INDIANAPOLIS -- The argument has raged for years. What is the biggest racing event on Memorial Day weekend?

If you're an Indy-car fan, you'll say the Indianapolis 500. If you're a NASCAR fan, you'll say the Coca-Cola 600.

And let's not forget Formula One fans, who could make a strong case for the Monaco Grand Prix. But we'll keep it to the two domestic events for this comparison.

I'll go with the Indy 500, which this year is celebrating its 100-year anniversary of the first race at The Brickyard. But you certainly could make a case either way.

What makes one better than the other? Here are 10 reasons this year that stand out for each event.

Read list here .....

Indy used to be a must watch even for this strictly NASCAR fan, but not anymore. It used to be the only Indy race I would watch, now could care less if the place burned down. I wished Spitcup would stop racing there and go to Iowa. Would rather watch grass grow in backyard than see Indy races!

Had to go with Indy. It was the first racing I knew of outside of the small local racing in which I was too young to appreciate. Besides, it was the only big time racing I could even listen to on the radio. Those days are still special for me.

I'd gotta go with the 600, I like racing where drivers have the option to trade a little bit of paint. Can't really do that with Indy cars.

Im going to the Nascar Canadian Tire series race at Mosport saturday and then heading to Lime Rock on monday. Im most looking forward to the Canadian Tire series season opener

crap i knew i forgot to record something today was the WoO race. Oh well I'm planning to go see them for the first time in July:beerbang:

Same here , I remember making the ride to a cemetary in Conn. from my home town in Ma., listening to the race with my dad on the way up and back. I always loved the 500 and still do, i can't remember the last time I've seen the end of the 600, way too long a race for me.

No worries, it was rained out last night, and the race is not on TV now.

You'll have a blast seeing them in person! FYI, you may of may not need them, but take a pair of safety glasses with you. If the track gets dusty, they help.

Indy and Sprint Cup. But, in two weeks, Mrs. Miler and myself are going to Pocono, courtesy of Goodyear with HOT PASSES for the weekend. ARCA race on Saturday should be good. Also on stage Sunday for pre race check presentation and in Victory Lane for another check presentation.Should be pretty exciting,I've kept it a secret from her for two months now,she thinks we're going to a wedding in New Joisey. And, I get to keep the big fake checks

Sunny and temps in the high 70's for the next couple of days. With all the cloudy, damp and cool weather here lately I refuse to plunk down in front of the TV.

The DVR will be getting a workout.:)
