PONTAIC already has pretty cool looking cars, IMO
This looks extremly similar to the Gran Am. I know it has "MORE POWER" as Tim Allen would say but they should have desinged the body diffrent. This car is based after an car in Austraila i forget the name of that car.

i think that PONTIAC does not advertise as much as FORD and CHEVY, and i think that hurts them.

It is an allright car, but if they are going to name it after a car as sharp as the old GTO was it should be at least unique. That looks almost exactly like a dozen other cars on the road right now. Just sort of a regurgitaion of the Grand Am/Grand Prix with a little Chrysler styling thrown in.

I really like the GTO concept of a few eyars ago is was pretty mean looking. Wish they would hav edone that instead of the this car.

They had Pontiac exec's talking on the newly released Triple X dvd and they showed the 2004 Pontiac GTO and never seen commercial. I said to myself, here comes another front wheel drive wanna be. Guess not!

5.7L V-8
300+ HP
Rear Wheel Drive
Available 6 Speed Manual Transmission

Don't know if I should post a link to the video or not. You guys might kill my bandwidth!

I like what's under the hood, I just can't wait for cars to stop being bubbles.

tough looking car...........i think it would make a good NASCAR!

Monaro? Holden? Don't quite remember.

i cant think of the name either but i dont see why nascar wouldent let them race that

i seriusoly doubt it, That is not a family car its more of a sport car.

I can't say I really like the look of it that much. The back end pretty much looks like an old Holden. I think they were more on the mark with one of their concept cars...Pontiac Solstice...great smooth lines with a slight taste of Jag class to it yet keeping the Pontiac feel to it at the same time...great car...would much rather see that in production...

Bob Lutz, chairman of General Motors for North America, unveils a 2004 Pontiac GTO at the Los Angeles Auto Show, January 3, 2003 in Los Angeles. The vehicle features a LS1 5.7-liter V-8 aluminum block engine with 340 horsepower and the option of a six-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission. The original GTO, which began as an option for the Pontiac LeMans model in 1964, and evolved into one of Detroit's most desired muscle cars, is highly regarded for its raw horsepower by collectors today. It's about time they put out a new GTO. It looks really slick too. Looks like they kept the Aztek designers far, far away from that car, and that's a good thing.
