Although half of my weekend go rained out thanks to a massive downpour, my Friday night was race filled.

Under very hot, sunny skies, Potomac Speedway held it's annual Bobby Allen Memorial, featuring a 35 lap, $2000 race for the Budweiser Super Late Models. Along with the Super Lates, the track featured the Penn-Mar Vintage club, street stocks, hobby stocks, strictly stocks and u-cars. Despite the extreme temperatures, the crowd on hand was treated with some fantastic, exciting races in all 6 divisions
