I've been hard on this track for the way it was mismanaged and left crumbling under Rick Jones. Greg Gunter has turned that place around. There were some issues with the new scoring system and everything but it's all brand new so it's to be expected.
Ticket prices are lower, pit passes are lower, entry fees are lower and payouts are higher along with all the work put into the grandstands and the track and control tower. That said, everything paid off... there was a huge crowd there tonight despite 29* weather.
Expect big things from Potomac Speedway in 2009.
