Gordon is 7th on this. I don't think he deserves to be that low.

Think being on top of FOXSports.com's NASCAR Power Rankings is enough to convince Mark Martin to race at Bristol? Neither did we, but the man's earned the top spot.
1. Mark Martin: Enjoying a well-deserved vacation. Can you hear Frank Sinatra singing "My Way"?

2. Jimmie Johnson: Defending champ appears on his way to second title, but his winning streak ends at Thunder Valley.

3. Matt Kenseth: His crew chief Robbie Reiser has spent his sabbatical tweaking cars — competitors be ready.

4. Jeff Burton: Becoming scarily consistent in stellar start to the season.

5. Tony Stewart: Look for a revenge run at Bristol where rubbing is synonymous with racing.

6. Juan Pablo Montoya: This former champ says Bristol will be a test — expect JP to pass with flying colors.

7. Jeff Gordon: Will take over where his teammate left off. Extensive COT testing at Hendrick will pay off.

8. Clint Bowyer: Sophomore sensation continues to steadily climb through the ranks.

9. Carl Edwards: No longer missing in action since his reunion with crew chief Bob Osborne.

10. Kurt Busch: Nobody does it better at Bristol, but the rules have changed. Has Penske done its homework?

11. David Stremme: Refuses to give up, especially with friendly competition like JP in the house.

12. Dale Earnhardt Jr.: We keep seeing glimmers of what this crew is capable of, now master the end game.

That's bs..Juan out ranked him? please...

By the way..this is another dude doing the Power Ranking..the one that did it before is no longer with NASCAR.COM i believe?

I stopped reading these on Nascar.com when they changed writers...

They aren't witty, insightful or amusing, and predictions are useless... (Tony gets revenge,... c'mon...)

The one doing this is Lee Spenser from Fox.

Oh alright..thanks for correction..didn't see it.

But yeah i also stopped reading the Power Rankings at NASCAR.COM

Lee Spencer is a Roush corporation lover, that's why i dont read her articles..they all favor Roush and whatnot.
