One of me dear internet friends needs healing thoughts and prayers for his Mom, so please send those to our creator on his behalf.
His latest email to me is as follows:
"Everyone, if anyone has tried to call or email me today, I have been unable to
answer/reply. What started out as a routine doctor appointment yesterday, has
turned into a very serious situation.
My mother went to the doctor yesterday for a checkup. They found that she had a
blood clot in her left hip and that her kidneys were barely functioning. They
admitted her to the hospital yesterday. Overnight, complications developed.
She bled through an IV that was in her arm, and it has swollen to a huge size
and turned a deep blackish-blue. Her kidneys also completely failed. They
tried to perform dialysis and her blood pressure dropped to almost zero. She is
in Intensive Care, and the doctors told us that they didn't know, but that with
her serious heart trouble and kidney failure, there is a good chance that she
might not make it. They told us that it might be wise to prepare for the worst.
Best to notify anyone that should be here in case something were to happen.
They were performing emergency dialysis and giving her a blood transfusion when I left the hospital to take my dad
home and take care of him. Her signs were stable, but she is no where near out
of danger. My sister is staying overnight and will let us know is anything
happens. Please remember my mother in your prayers. She really needs a lot of
prayers right not. Thank you."
