Hate it for Kat but glad she owned it. She felt bad. Happy Graham chose to take the
ride. I think he earned it for all the laps he has already put in this week.
Wilson and Graham are both tall so it should be an easy re-fit.
Kinda hope he finishes in front of his RLL team mates just for a
fun story line.

I don't see why he should or would refuse the offer. He wasn't trying to buy the ride or getting someone else removed from an earned spot and he was willing to accept his fate. If he would have refused the seat it still wouldn't fix Wilson's misfortune.

I also believe anyone else accepting the ride at this stage would have fit in with the "did not earn it" criteria.
Racing can be very unfair. In many cases the fastest car doesn't win and being prepared for an opportunity matters most. This case is unusual but Rahal was just in the right place at the right time. It is not ideal but that doesn't make him a bad person.
Graham is a very nice young man. I enjoyed talking to him when he came to Courtneys races. He was very polite. He was definitely nervous every time she went down the track.

The fact that is good guy makes me happy for him.

He gets to race cars and is married to Courtney Force he should have a permanent grin on his face

That’s pretty much where I’m at. It’s a bit disappointing since it takes away from Bump Day but it makes a lot of sense for a number of reasons.

Yeah, but it was great fun while it was happening, wasn't it?

Fifth Third and United Rentals will join Graham on the 24 and the team implied Cusick’s/Wilson’s sponsors will move over to the team’s other entry with RHR on the 23, which was previously unsponsored.
We've avoided the ignominious spectacle of a former 500 champion racing in an unsponsored car!

It's great that everyone's sponsors are getting what they paid for.

Carb Day - As much as I like Djr, I just cant get use to him in an Indy booth.
Danica on the other hand , is in her element. She should have never left.
Lets see how Legge and Rahal do in the last practice.

Glad to report no major incidents on final practice.
Cars looked great . Legge and Rahal close in speeds
around the 223's but still towards the back end.

Cant wait !

Looked pretty racy when I checked in. Saw Rossi’s team swapped out the shorter diffuser strakes for longer ones, a number of different rear wing Gurney flap configurations through the field between short span, wide span, and no flap at all. Lots of different aero experiments going on today.

Newgarden and Herta noted that Canapino was pretty impressive.

Nice to see a course that is not easy peasy.

Shows how much of master Senna was as well.

Psyched for this weekend. Have an all inclusive package thru a major supplier of ours for work. Track visit and tour tomorrow followed by a dinner at team HQ. Then police escort to the track tomorrow morning, we get Silver Badges (I guess this is their hot pass) and then our suite behind gasoline alley is on the start/finish line

Good practice session this afternoon… a little surprised at a couple of the unnecessary moves from a couple cars today, but I guess everyone is a little riled up and ready for 500 miles sunday.

This month of may has been fantastic to be a race fan. Love all the coverage in the last couple weeks.

I feel this is going to be a great race!

Crowds across the Indy GP and 500 festivities have been great all month. With the exception of the 100th in 2016, the track is expecting the race to have its largest crowd in a quarter of a century.

It was an astounding number of patrons. And the weather was just absolutely perfect

You should be home from your visit with King Charles by then.
The guy just asks so many questions! As often as his mum and I chatted, you'd think he'd have picked up some governing tactics by now. But no, it's day after day of "Should I do this?" and "What do you think about that?" Still, he does have a great selection of cider, and Camilla knocks out a bloody good fish and chips.
