My buddy and I have been doing this since 2007, started with Denny Hamlin, Kyle Busch, and Carl Edwards.

How many titles and race wins do drivers such as these guys end up with?

Chase Elliot
Ryan Blaney
Kyle Larson
Erik Jones
Christopher Bell (?)

Any up and comers you can think of!

Chase Elliott - 55 wins, 3 titles
Ryan Blaney - ~25 wins
Kyle Larson - 17 wins
Erik Jones - 10 wins
Christopher Bell - 50 wins, 2 titles

Chase Elliott- 21 wins, 1 championship

Ryan Blaney- 33 wins, 2 championships

Kyle Larson- 5 wins, 0 championships

Erik Jones- 11 wins, 0 championships

Christopher Bell- 0 wins, 0 championships

Alex Bowman- 3 wins, 0 Championships

William Byron- 36 wins, 2 championships

Austin Dillon- 5 wins, 0 championships

Ricky Stenhouse Jr.- 16 wins, 0 championships

Daniel Saurez- 10 wins, 0 championships

I said Chase would win 50-55 races when something like this thread was done at the end of 17 and was told I was an idiot. I’m still slotting Chase in for 52 wins but hard to say on Titles due to the WWE gimmick points system, it’s so hard to win multiple championships now I would say. Still think he wins 3. As for the rest..
Erik Jones-25 wins and 2 championships (I like his talent, but a big gamble, we don’t know if he stays in the 20 and if he gets booted where he will go. Still think a big team would pick him up.)
Ryan Blaney -20 wins no Cups ( cool cat but I’m starting to ask what’s the big deal with him? He’s vastly behind his other teammates and they are smoking him at every turn. Is he getting exposed running up against Brad and Joey? Nice driver though, not sure if he’d be my #1 if I was starting a team. I do think he will have a very nice career with a handful of Nascar Bowl appearances)
Kyle Larson-12 wins No Cups ( I would bet on this not because of his talent which is generational but I think he goes the Tony Stewart route for dirt racing and leaves NASCAR all together when he inevitably gets burnt out. I also see him in the Indy Car Series too.)
Christopher Bell 44 wins, 3 Cups ( I think he’s the next Tony Stewart. What a franchise driver he will be. I will offer this caveat in that we don’t know where his Cup career will be but if the Preacher leads Erik away to be family I’d feel good about Bell being in the 20 to the extent I’d bet history would repeat itself like Tony did when he drove the 20. I think he will be a superstar wherever he goes.)

I’m gonna take it a step further and project for everyone currently driving full time for a major team in Cup.

Kurt Busch - 34 wins and the 1 title he won in ‘04
Brad Keselowski - 52 wins, 2 titles (including his ‘12 title)
Austin Dillon - 5 wins, no titles
Ryan Newman - 18 wins, no titles (what he has now, I don’t see him winning again)
Daniel Hemric - 2 wins, no titles
Chase Elliott - 31 wins, 2 titles
Aric Almirola - 5 wins, no titles
Denny Hamlin - 40 wins, no titles
Ryan Blaney - 16 wins, no titles
Clint Bowyer - 12 wins, no titles
Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. - 4 wins, no titles
Kyle Busch - 85 wins, 3 titles (including ‘15 title)
Martin Truex, Jr. - 41 wins, 2 titles (including ‘17 title)
Erik Jones - 8 wins, no titles
Paul Menard - 1 win, no titles. 2011 Brickyard will be it.
Joey Logano - 54 wins, 3 titles (including ‘18 title)
William Byron - 14 wins, no titles
Chris Buescher - 8 wins, no titles
Daniel Suarez - 7 wins, no titles
Kyle Larson - 8 wins, no titles (I don’t see him staying in Cup much longer)
Bubba Wallace - 1 win, no titles
Ryan Preece - too early to tell, but for now let’s say 1 win, no titles
Jimmie Johnson - 84 wins, the 7 titles he already has
Alex Bowman - 6 wins, no titles

Chase Elliot - 45 Wins 2 Titles
Ryan Blaney - 25 Wins 0 Titles (Has the potential to snag one but at this point in time I don't see it happening)
Kyle Larson - 20 Wins 0 Titles
Erik Jones - 18 Wins 0 Titles
Christopher Bell - 10 Wins 0 Titles (I think he's going to be a bust)

Kyle Busch and Joey Logano are going to win a lot more races and championships. Maybe Brad and MTJ too depending on how many prime years they have left.
