Predictions For The Shootout?

I am going to have to go with Tony Stewart to three-peat in the shoot-out. But i think Rusty will give hime a run for the money.
 
I think it will be Ryan Newman. That boy is fast ..............and smart. :ph34r:
 
I'm going to have to go with Jeff Gordon. He was pretty strong at Talladega at the fall race before his engiene went. If he can show that power at Daytona he could win in any race he enters.
 
I predict a fair amount of sandbagging. Some teams will treat it as a practice session with a guaranteed minimum purse.
 
I hope it's Tony, as long as his Shootout win doesn't jinx him for the 500 like it has for the past two years. :rolleyes:

Im taking either kurt busch or junior.

even though junior is starting last, he can make it past 18 cars in 70 laps
 
It's a plate race, so Jr. will we tough. I also like Tony and Jeff. Penske power was stout in testing, so this could be interesting.
 
This will sound kinda of stupid but I think Benson will slip up for a win in one of this upp coming speedweeks races

Dale Jarrett has always been strong at Daytona, I'll pick him.
 
Going with #9, fuel mileage will be a huge factor with smaller tanks, teams will have to pit in the second 50 lap segment. So i look for quick pit stops to be the determining factor of the race.
 
Mikey is not in the shootout TRL, so you can narrow that down by one
 
Martin is going to get it done this year but................., Kenseth will win the shootout!
 
If Daytona were a track where it took any skill to win,I would say Stewart,Busch or Newman.

But since it's not,I pick Jr. ;)
