And from his comments on "Trackside" I gather this was not the first opportunity he had to move up to WC, but the one which offered him the situtation he desired.
Mostly he is a competitor, and to him that is all he wishes to be. He will not discuss the "overcoming adversity" role, he seems to consider it totally irrelevent to the job he does. I try to take him that way.
You could tell from his demeanor that he was very unhappy with the qualifying run the Jasper team had Friday and admitted freely that the adjustments he made following practice hurt the car's performance.
