Using a modified truck division chassis and cage and a "crate" engine to help keep the cost down and the car count up here's what might be the biggest thing since the Feds banned cigarette advertising on TV.
The "repro" bodies are made in the same fashion as the dirt latemodel bodies are and have "flex" built in to keep damage to a minimum and contact to the max.
Plans are to change the bodies yearly with the first season using '57 Fords and Chevys. Tires are to be narrow and hard and the bodies have the aerodynamic qualities of a concrete block so speeds will be much slower and racing can a much more close quarters variety than anything seen in years
Plans are already being finalized for the second season using the '65 Ford Galaxie for the body. Stay tuned, this could turn into something pretty neat.
