Proof Positive of "conspiracy" for Smack

Three times in the entire history of NASCAR a race has been run at Michigan International Speedway on August 18.

Three times in his entire career Dale Jarrett has won the second race at Michigan International Speedway.

DJ's three wins for this race were on:

August 18, 1991
August 18, 1996
August 18, 2002

Coincidence?? I think not!!:D
 
And I think he started 11th in 2 of those wins. Is that Oliver Stone I see on that grassy knoll?
 
It goes further!

Every time it happens DJ is in his second year.

1991 - the second year DJ drove the Wood Bros car

1996 - the second year DJ drove for Robert Yates

2002 - the second year DJ drove the UPS car

Puuuhleeeze indeed! Something is afoot here. An full and impartial investigation is required into this. Someone should contact the Washington Post posthaste!:D

HS so you think nascar sets up races before they happen??? (or decides the leader before hand)

Was hopin' you'd find this funny because it is so totally ridiculous.

Try to imagine the number of folks who would have to be involved to "set up" a race and the amount of luck which would be required to make it work anyway.
 
oh ok im sorry its just so many people do think that way and after sundays race on the boards thats all I have been hearing

I dont know why people have to make an excuse for there driver to loose especially after there driver finishes second. I would have been mad if someone took out jeff when he was about to win but not because of someone bumping him to win and him getting second. I would be happy for him to finish second only 5 points behind first.

Again sorry for acuseing you like that just been hearing the consipiracy acusations all day.
 
I didn't take it as accusing Smack, don't sweat it.

I do know what ya mean about hearing the conspiracy stuff though. Been listening to it for so long I hardly even pay attention. Gets old though.

The main thing about racing or any other sport is to have fun with it. If ya lose that what's the point?
 
btw for all of you who didnt see my post from earlier on another topic Im talking about other boards not here, theres no conspriacy theorist here. :)
 
I dont believe there is a conspiracy in Nascar at all but I enjoy telling these things to my father. Has anyone thought about last year at the Cal Ripken JR. 400 @ Dover------Cal Ripken JR. wore #8 and the race was one by Dale JR. who drives #8 (that one is kind of dumb but it crossed my mind)

And even saturday night at Bristol i had a couple of my own---my favorite# is #4 (big time Lou Gehrig fan) and the #4 was popping up everywhere through the week last week---i had to send off a package to fed-ex and the pick up # was 444--- I took Kevin Harvick in the race pool and he took the lead on lap 444 and then went on to finish in 4th. I know these are crazy but Im at work and very bored

All I want to know,Is who wrote that Martin would get in a wreack at Bristol:mad: I just know Nascar doesn't want Martin to win the cup,And they have one script writer assigned to him personlly to make sure he doesn't. :p Its bigger than the Kennedy era I tell you.:D

I think I'm guilty pb........but Rusty was supposed to win with Tony second!! Marks thing was supposed to happen on lap 500 out of turn four when Jimmy tossed Kurt to the wall.......Damn NASCAR!! They messed up a perfectly good script!!:( :(
 
well Nascar had one so Earnhardt would not win 8 cups. thats why Jeff and Rusty and Bobby L are here. there were actors to beat dale. :p

Gordon wins the Bristol Race,Oh my,Thats 24 letters,It was fixed :D
 
Not to point out the obvious, but Gordon drives the #24 Dupont chevy.;)
