I just preordered mine on Amazon. The PS4, 2 year warranty, 2 Day receive on day of release shipping, and tax for $478. Not bad.

I never got into consoles myself, PC gaming all the way.

I still play both my PS2 and PS3. I probably won't get a next-gen console for a while but if or when I do it will most likely be the PS4.

Dreamcast was my favorite system. I got a Wii when it first came out - haven't used it in years.

Glad to see someone else liked the Dreamcast! I still remember the date i got mine, launch day 9/9/99! Most people i run into never heard of it! I got a used Wii at a yard sale a couple of years ago, It was like $150 with like 30 or 40 games, sold some of the higher dollar games so the system and most of the games were free. Pretty much have never used the things more than a handful of times... Wouldn't mind getting a PS3 if a spot one for really cheap.

I liked the little memory cards that you could play games on.

The Sega Dreamcast and the Game.com systems were so underrated, it's not even funny.

Just ordered mine from Amazon, can't wait. I will not update my XBOX 360, as I like PS the best. I got the XBOX so me and my buddy could do online. I also ordered a new Sony Vaio Duo 13 which should be here in a couple weeks. I just got a laptop over the Duo 11 cause I didn't think 11" screen was big enough and I seen they had a 13" now so had to have it. Anybody want to buy a slightly used laptop?:D

Yeah, I feel like we don't even need next gen consoles right now - we need better games. At the moment, though, I'm leaning heavily toward the PS4.

I'm not a fanboy of any console or gaming company. I have an Xbox 360, a Wii, a PS2, and a few other consoles and handhelds. That said, I do not like what MS is doing with the Xbox One at all. I don't need to go into detail because those of you who have been following the next gen console news know exactly what I'm talking about.

I want to like the Wii U but I'm worried about its potential longevity, or lack thereof, since power and graphics wise it's pretty much just on par with the Xbox 360/PS3. Mind you, that's more than good enough for me, but the game developers probably feel differently. Plus, Mirror's Edge 2 is the only next gen game that I am interested in right now, and as of this moment, it's not going to be on the Wii U.

I broke my PS2 out earlier this week. I keep telling myself I'm going to finish Final Fantasy X-2 one day. Yep, I'm gonna get right on that, I swear. Honest.

Anyone remember super Nintendo? Ah, those were the days.

Those were the days? These were the days.
