Qualifing Order for Rained Out Qualifing

What if instead of using the points to set the race starting positions, they use those points but invert them. Thus the lowest point standing team would start on the pole - this may make for some exciting action throughout the day and give some of the underperforming teams some TV time. Yea or Nea? Give underfunded teams a shot at a victory?
 
In theory a good idea, but I don't think it would help anyone win a race, like it does at your local Friday or saturday night track. The races are long enough that the cream rises to front no matter where they start. Just look at the change of engine rule.
 
That might be nice to see...but we can't let the rain punish the top leaders in the points.
 
This'll be interesting, The top 10 battling it out on the track. Another chance for "Happy" Harvick that is if he doesnt run out of fuel <_< . I also agree, qualifying did suck today, all they just did was sit around on pit road
 
That is the pits. Tim Sauter couldn't get Dave's 71 in the race.
 
I like Dave Marcis. He will try again. :D And make it next time.
 
Yeah and I'm pretty sure Larry Foyt will win the next seven races. <_<
 
Tim Sauter is not Larry Foyt. If Foyt can make you don't have to worry about Tim. :D
 
I like it the way it is...mainly 'cuz it's probably the only way Matt will get a pole position this year. ;)
