I hate it when quals get rained out...it does several things, doesn't allow cool dudes like Kenny Wallace in the race, lets in a slew of Bodines, and worst of all, it throws off the whole starting lineup...of course, it allows Kenseth a great starting spot for someone who isn't a front row qualifier week in and week out...

That's a bummer. But at least Harvick gets to start 8th. But I really hate it for Kenny and Kerry.

They definitley need to race/qualify in the rain. Now that this stupid 10 people at the end of the season is in effect, there's nothing that the people can do. NASCAR NEEDS TO RACE IN THE RAIN. Otherwise, maybe they should have the people with all the points start in the back and let the others get some points; the points that not qualifting would cost them.

Did that make any sense?

Not really, Racing in the rain on a road course is one thing. Racing on an oval in the rain would never work. No matter what kind of wet weather tire they make running an oval in the rain would mark disaster. Corner speeds may reach 100 mph and that might even be a stretch. As a side note though, why can they not qualify sat morning?

Believe me it cannot be done on an oval. I guarantee Half if not more the field would wreck. You can not drive an 800hp 3,400 pound stock car in the rain. For that matter if NASCAR told the drivers they could do it I bet there would not be one that would not raise hell about it.

I agree with N2Racin88...They might just as well race go-garts.

Watching cars go around a 2 or 2.5 mile oval at 100 mph isn't something I'd want to watch...8 hours races. But that's just my preference.

Johnson is, however, catching a break with all this bad weather. The perks of being the points leader, I guess.
