Question about COKES

What is the deal with the drivers always holding and drinking a coke while they are being interviewed? Do they make money? If so how much? Anyone???

Doesn't Coke donate money for each chug or who ever has the most in the season to charity, something like that
 
Newracefan, it sure used to be. And prolly still is. I used to laff at the guys hurrying to hitch that bottle up to the lips when that camera was headed their way!! LOL
 
Coke is a sponsor of many. You'll always see the Hendrick drivers with a Pepsi-made drink though, although... geeeze.. I can't even think what JJ drinks. Jeff always has Pepsi, Junior has AMP and Mountain Dew.... and well, it's not so bad I can't remember what Mark drinks, since he's new. Or maybe they liquify Cheese-Its for him. ;) LOL j/k Anyway, you'll see drivers drinking whatever sponsor drink they have. Kurt and Kasey can have a nice cold beer when they get out of their cars..... if they win. :D LOL Remember Kasey with all those Vitamin Water commercials? :)
 
yup, it's all about the money. Didn't coke even do a commercial a year or 2 about it?

Wasn't that the Coke One commercials a year ago, where they were trying to get the drivers to take a dive (so to speak) and not drink Coke One, and drink Coke instaed, or someting like that.
