Love this format - kinda reminds me of the local racetracks - they should run the qualifying race - then run the trucks for 50 laps in-between....then the feature

Thanks for the info - I haven't been paying attention as much as I should. Seeing as how he is currently #7 on first day qualifying - 227.621mph - just behind Andretti Jr. - he is DEFINITELY in the field of 33. Good for him
.He will probably start no worse than 10th.

They consider him a rookie because he never raced at Indianapolis before. He was a Champ Car guy and jumped to NASCAR before open-wheel unification.
