Question again

Some have a lot and some have few. It only takes one car to make a team. But there is no limit to the number of cars a team has. The limit is supposed to be in the number of teams an owner has. I believe that limit is two, but there are ways around it. Just look at whose name is on the team.

The larger teams have up to 12.......maybe even more. Smaller teams may only have 1. But, I don't see how they can run a full schedule with less than about 3.

Sorry! I meant like the 99 team or whatever car, how many cars does that team have? (Backups, test cars or whatever):)

i know this is not real. but on nascar thunder 2003 for PS2 i have maybe 5 cars. and i swich them up everyfew races. again not real

You can bet that the 99 team will have at least 12 cars and that many more motors. It's too bad you live so far away from the garages. When you see one of them (one of the bigger ones) you are in awe of the vast amount of equipment, parts and cars. Some are new and others are old and in need of repair. Motors can line the side of the garage, waiting to be used or reworked. These garages are normally cleaner than most people's homes.

You know what I really regret? Not being a NASCAR fan while I lived out in Georgia. I could have gone to so many different race shops and races back there. :( :(

So basically 10-12 cars for a top-notch WC team.

What about a top-notch busch or truck team?

Some have up to 16 cars at any one time but most have about 10.

I think, the comment about an owner having no more than 2 cars isn't exactly correct. I believe that an owner can own as many as they want but they can only have 2 teams on the bonus plans at any one time so owners like Roush and Hendrick put some of their teams in other names so that they can all be on the Winner's Circle, etc at the same time.
