"We had a top-five car," Harvick said. "I can't believe we ran out of gas with that many laps to go. We need to throw out our computers that figure that stuff and start over."

 We were all told by your crew chief that you were five laps short on gas!

Who believes crew chiefs? Matt Borland told us so many times last year that Newman was going to run out of gas 2 laps shy of the end!! :D

I don't know about top 5, he was gettin pretty loose before he ran out of gas

Harvick is a top 5 whiner
If you was running in 2nd palce and ran out of gas you whine also.

Okay Gollum............you sure got me there!! I'd be crying like a baby myself!!! :D

I would like to think I would be man enough to say "We gambled and lost. We will do better next time". But you never know. In the heat of the moment true feelings tend to slip out. :p

I don't really see Kevin as a whiner. ANY driver would be ticked off if it happened to them.

Did you guys hear Kevin on the radio when he ran out? Mad wasn't the word for the way he felt then.. lol.

kenseth told Riser that he wasn't surprised Harvick couldn't make it as he was splashing fuel out of the car trying to keep his tires warm. I don't know if he splashed 5 laps out or not but obviously it didn't help.

Quote of the race was :

They were saying he was going to be 4 to 5 laps short before they even went back to green.

I understand overflow but didn't harvick pit with the rest of the leaders? Is his fuel mileage THAT bad? I thought stewart pushed it harder than anyone out front and gibbs cars aren't know for the best mileage.

I don't think RCR cars are known for any big mileage either. :)

Could be. Might want to consider using the bumper for pushing air instead.

I thought this tire/spoiler combo was suppose to eliminate fuel mileage races?
