Robby Gordon on Jimmie Johnson's pass coming to the yellow on Michael Waltrip:

"I wonder if Jeff Gordon is going to jump up and down and scream about his own driver and teammate passing under caution. Think about it."

Of course, they interviewed Jeff Gordon and not a peep from him about Jimmie's pass coming to the caution. Sorry guys I like you all here and respect your opinion but thats the reason I dont like Jeff Gordon, he is too much of a hipocrit.

Aside from this, I know people are complaining a lot about NBC's coverage, but I think they are doing pretty well. They have interviewed over 10 guys already, when FOX did just the top 3 and then cut out. I would rather see a post-race show than a pre-race show. I like it.

I like the post race better as well...but they take all the commercials during the race, and then the pre-race they talk for 5 hours. ;) Doesn't make since........

i agree with robby on this, post race is really good also

:D That was hilarious. Jeff won't say anything, so it's great that Robby showed what a hypocrite Jeff is. Robby Gordon's attitude and the fact he doesn't back down from anyone is one reason why I really like him.

The Jimmie Johnson and Michael Waltrip post race interview reeked of jabs taken to Kevin Harvick. They were talking about being grown men and letting it go and leaving it all at the track, clearly they are taking jabs at Kevin Harvick and his prepared statement and how he kept bringing the pass up for a whole week.

On another note, hey 97forever whats with Kenseth and Martin? Martin was upset and bumped Kenseth in pit lane after the race was over. Any more info on that?

want to point out johnson is also a hipocrit because in the incar radio he said he wasnt worried about it, then after the race when he was with micheal he said he didnt like to do it, what one was it jimmy?

If Jimmy really weren't worried about it he wouldn't have said anything....at least until confronted....

I take his in-car comments as self justification at the time (he mentioned how many times it happened to him over and over and....)

Anyway, the real difference is how they (jj and mw) handled themselves after the race! Sure, you can't expect these guys to always be 'gentlemen' on the track, but they were true sportsmen after the race. That's what seperates them from the Gordon 'show'....

Thanks!

Looks like you've been around a while....thanks for the greets!

Cheers!

Robby can say anything he wants, its not going to help him win a championship. To bad his driving isn't as good as his trash talking. Peace

 I thought Robbie's comments were hilarious. I don't see what the big deal was. Johnson had the run regardless of the caution coming out. He is racing Mikey for both points and position. Radio conservations at the time were just the heat of the moment.

I think the quote of the year should have been "Eat my tailpipe...loser" from the new UPS commercial. :p

I agree. I was a little upset that it happened to Mikey, but I supported what robby did and wouldnt wanna be a hipocrite. I'm not sure Jimmie would have gotten by that lap. I think that mikey might have let of the gas when he heard the caution was out, and then noticed jimmie was gonna race him back, and then also raced back. I was really happy with mikey's run anyway.

I personally can't stand Robby and I'm a huge Jeff fan but I do have to agree with Robby on this as much as it hurts.

As much as I dislike Robby, (of course I don't like Jeff much either :p ) he is right on this one. I really like the post race interviews.

Johnson and Waltrip both have short memories. They both have whined and complained about things that happen to them for a week. Looks like hipocrates come in all shapes and sizes.

I guess what gets me with this whole thing is the "reporter" had to get Robby to repeat himself just to get it on camera, just so this "reporter" could stir the pot just a little more. It's just rediculous! The whole thing was stupid in the first place, although I did read that Nascar admitted that Robby was wrong when he made his pass on Harvick and they didn't do anything about it. It all stems back from the incident at Texas. Either do away with racing back to the yellow or every driver should be informed to stop the belly aching and whining when they get passed racing back to the yellow AND when they are denied getting a lap back!

I have to say that was pretty funny and I am no way a Robbie fan. Did you see the face he made after that...he seemed to be having fun with the controversy anyway.

I just don't get in to the way that Robbie handles himself.... < cough- punk >

That seemed like something a 13 year old would pull - Getting his words in then walking away from the camera...

I do want to see what Jeff would say, but you can call him out and still at least pretend to be mature about it....
