Robby Gordon scaling back: #7-Robby Gordon said he likely will not race at Martinsville Speedway next week after failing to qualify for the previous three Cup races. Gordon said he planned to race at Martinsville if he qualified Friday in California, but even if he had made the races at California and Martinsville, it was unlikely he would go to the next Cup race at Texas. Gordon said he will concentrate on marketing his Speed Energy drink as well as competing in off-road and monster truck events. He said the next Cup race for his team could be in June at the road course in Sonoma, CA. Gordon eventually hopes that sales of his energy drink can support a Cup racing program.(SceneDaily)(3-24-2012)
 
robby is one of my favorites but i've been expecting this. :( i'm going to miss seeing the #7 out there also. he should have sold the number to shr when he had the chance.

I noticed from her profile that she's extremely old so she probably doesn't give a rat's ass what anyone thinks.

She doesn't and also used to be much, much more active on racing-forums.com. I'll leave it at that.
 
The writing was on the wall for the 7 car - especially after the ECU melted down on him. Missing 3 straight races is not good for the bottom line and traveling cross-country ain't cheap.

Don't know how he's gonna market his product without promoting it on the track.

His merch hauler was surrounded by crickets yesterday at Fontana...

Robby blew up a $25,000 ECU to save $10 by making his own connector. Dumb.
 
Where the heck can you even buy his energy drink I've never seen it.

That's not the point. I am sure If she had a family member that took there own life she would not think that was funny at all....whether she changes it or not is up to her, I just can't see that and not say something. I am sure that if she knew someone that died of breast cancer she would say something if someone tried to make a funny from people dieing of breast cancer or drunk driving...anything that affects a loved one.

I can understand the non activity , I waver back and forth on giving it up daily . I sure am curious which of the trash pushes her and others away. Too bad the forums mods hadn't some way of surveying previous members to get their points of view.

This Is The way Some Forums Handle Problems

I usually do this via PM but since it involves more than one person and the PM's don't seem to stick with some of you, I am going to post this publicly.

For those of you who like to make "bait" posts - and you know exactly who you are - that practice is going to stop right now. I am sick to death of deleting those crap posts and if I have to keep doing it, some of you are going to be leaving.

I value every member here, but I'm not going to put up with it any longer, so STOP!

I am absolutely amazed by the two 'over the top' statements on this thread . I have no idea who or what they are in reference to . Neither make any sense at all. If he wants me to leave , I would be most happy to accomodate him.
 
Some Spring cleaning needs to be done around here.

Biff16, I beleive your taking a sig line the wrong way it's not a joke it needs to be brought out in the open so people can be helped not brushed under the rug.

I agree 100%..but that looks like it was wrote as a joke. she is ether pleading for help or trying to be funny. a better sig to bring it out in the open would be(if you are depressed and need help please call 1-800-273-talk or http://www.suicidepreventionlifeline.org/ or you can pm me and I will do all I can to help)


This thread can be deleted I didn't intend for it to go sideways just stating my thoughts...on the other hand we are talking about it so maybe that is what she was going for.
