That is so sad and so many good memories.
One of the greatest voices ever.
"Kiss an Angel Good morning" was just the tip of the iceburg.

RIP Mr. Pride, what an inspiring and singular figure he was. In addition to his trailblazing in country music, his accomplishments as a Negro Leagues All-Star pitcher should be remembered as well.

I saw him in concert at the old Tampa Florida Fair Grounds. He was on stage in the middle of the front stretch of the 1/2 mile clay dirt track.

Great musician may he rest in peace.
