"Gentle Jimmy" Pardue had one of those tags on his '64 Plymouth with that well known saying from the TV cop comedy. Pardue just missed winning the '64 Daytona in his Hemi Howler but the focus of card #43 came in second to another fairly well known #43 from Randleman. Sadly we lost Jimmie in a tire testing crash at Charlotte Motor Speedway in the fall of that year. A true gentleman and racer down to the ground.
