If you don't count my "tag" card at the end, we're halfway through the set with this card. What happens when you cross Nascar's first super star with the perfect stock car? You get Fireball Roberts in Paul McDuffie's little '57 Bel Air sport coupe and his first Southern 500 win. This car was lettered using the color painting of the car that was hanging in the Joe Weatherly Museum when it opened in '65 and the numbers were red. I'm not sure about the lettering but all the other pics of past winners match the films I've seen and I think the '58 race film may have had a major color shift. Anyway, I like the look of the red numbers better and it's my car. And that's all I have to say about that. Did you know that life is like a box of chocolates? LOL
