I know this isn't the next number that should have come up but please forgive me for putting this one out of sequence. I just heard that my friend Ralph passed away today and I'd like to post the car that helped launch Holman-Moody to honor his memory.
My most vivid memory of him is watching him tell the guy from Racing Collectibles, after he gave Ralph his little "we're gonna do diecast like it's never been done before, completely accurate." Ol' Ralph pointed straight at me, sitting a few tables away and said, "See that fellow sitting over there? He built those models on that table and they are the right color, number....why they even SET right!" Coming from a master chassis man like Ralph, there could have been no more meaningful compliment. Yes, I had trouble getting my head out the door to go home, wouldn't you? LOL Goodby my friend, we'll meet again.
