Ford was doing a lot of experimenting in the mid sixties with all sorts of different ideas. Tunnel Ports, single overhead cams, pearl paints and a host of others.

One of the most interesting was the importing of drivers into different venues. Some of the stock car boys went drag racing and some of the oval track heroes tried the road courses. Even some of the road course boys tried the big high banked ovals, all with varying degrees of success.

Here's my buddy Bill Little's replica of Scotland's pride and joy. It's World Champion Grand Prix driver Jimmy Clark's Rockingham ride for Holman Moody. And since I said it was built by "the Ancient One" I guess telling you that it's a Fairlane would be redundant, huh?
