Race at Martinsville postponed until Monday: the Goody's Fast Pain Relief 500 Sprint Cup Series race at Martinsville Speedway has been postponed to Monday due to rain on Sunday. The race is scheduled for Monday, March 29, 2010 at 12:00pm/et and will be televised on FOX and covered via radio on MRN.
The National Weather Service forecast for Monday: Showers likely, mainly before 8am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 60. North wind between 3 and 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

The truck race is scheduled to be repeated at the same time on SPEED! I was going to watch it at 12pm eastern.. I know.. I'll turn two tv's on and watch both races!

The first NASCAR race I attended was at Martinsville in October of 2001 and it was postponed until Monday too. It was awesome. The weather on Monday was perfect and about half of the people didn't/couldn't stick around for the race so there was basically nobody in front of us and we had 7th row seats. Oh, and that Monday was my birthday. It was great!
