RACE thread ---- The Open and the All-Star

If we do this again next year we need to be in the heat of the day on a hot slick track. It’s cool in the Carolina’s this evening. The open was a great race and I’m wondering if the difference in the grip is the difference in the quality of racing.

I expected a better race after the open earlier but that makes sense about the track being slicker earlier when the sun was still out.

Larson is an animal.

Not even the juju, curse or whatever the boys up in the booth were praying for was enough for this kid. Hendrick managed to get another Gordon type driver in his hands. Woo
By far the best driver in NASCAR and it’s not even close, but that was a lot more car than driver.

Probably Bristol dirt if anything. SMI for SMI.

Exactly, would have to be SMI for SMI and the Bristol dirt has run its course. Which leaves the question of what do they do with the All Star race. Ideally they should run a points race here 2 weeks before the 600, run the All star race at NWB this same weekend and then the 600
