I worked with a two car team out of California at the Chili Bowl this year, and I didn't have to think very long before I made my decision to do it again next year. I had a blast. I think you would enjoy it a lot. The Lucas Oil Nationals in Brainerd Mn is a pretty cool race because of the party zoo. I also like it because we won the nitro f/c class there last year. If you like the night life in Vegas then I think you would like the the Las Vegas Nationals in October. There is nothing like Vegas on Halloween.

Daytona 500 (of course)

Talladega

Knoxville Nationals

USAC @ Winchester Speedway

(just to name a few, but those are at the top of my list)

Daytona and Winchester was fun. But I would love to go to the Knoxville nationals also. You have to love them World of Outlaws.:)

...ceptin' maybe New Orleans...

Andy put a lot of thought into his list. I am impressed! All you have to do is win the Lottery, right??! :D

Not really. I'm 23, the way I see it, I still got 50 years or more left. I usually knock one off every year. Would've knocked North Wilkesboro off this year but the damn track closed again.

What team were you with? This will be (I think) my 7th year going. Just about the best week all year.

Knoxville Nationals
Chili Bowl
Williams Grove
Eldora

The 2 NASCAR tracks I never got to *sigh*
The Rock
Wilkesboro

I've done all the big NASCAR races --- even got to a Southern 500 at Darlington on Labor Day weekend and the first night race at Daytona. :)

As far as NASCAR tracks (races), I'd like to go to the Daytona 500 one year and maybe a race at Talladega. I wouldn't mind going to Richmond or Dover if the opportunity ever presented itself.

For dirt tracks, Eldora when it becomes racey again. I hear too many complaints about it now.

Daytona 500 and Indy 500, any F1 track. I'd like to go to all the NASCAR and IRL tracks if someone else will pay for it.

Bathurst 1000
Daytona 500
Bristol
Talladega
Watkins Glen
Monaco
Spa
Adelaide 500
Le Mans 24hr
Isle of man TT

Only one thats been ticked off is the first one and that gets ticked off every year. Still got the rest to look forward too :D

I just want to go to a F1 race....any F1 race long as I get to hang out with the Grid Girls ;)

I'll post mine once I think of it but seems a lot of people want to see Talladega and let me tell that if you go you'll have a blast most likely but I don't know. The racing has changed a lot since I went back in 2004. But I'm sure it will be a pretty good race still.

Anyway I'll think up races I'd like to go to I can think of a few now but I want a full list before I post it.

I guess my bucket list is still wanting to see any NASCAR event at both Talladega & Daytona. I suppose Bristol as well but getting tickets for those races seem to be very difficult...

Bristol hasn't sold out for a while. Tix are available on a walk-up basis.

I would like to go to Daytona one day - but I HATE plate racing with a passion - so it would only be to witness the traveling circus and to see the facility.

x2 on the Bristol tickets. While you still could walk up and purchase a ticket on race day, this past race was the first in the last three that our row was completely filled as were many around us. There were far fewer empty seats then in the past so the declining attendance @ BMS may be reversing. You may want to think about getting those tickets sooner than later.

Is the Bristol race as cool to watch as it looks like it would be? It doesn't look like there is a bad seat in the house.:)

Many people on here will tell you how bad the racing is there since they reconfigured the track but I know I could not disagree more. After I got home and watched my DVR copy it's clear that the home viewing audience isn't seeing half the race that you'd see in person. Really though, the same could be said for any track.

As far as bad seats. I've always sat up pretty high on the back stretch and have been satisfied with what I'm able to see from there. I'd guess though that high at either end would probably be the best location having the entire track within sight at all times. Sitting on either the front or back stretch will give your neck a workout. A week ago Wednesday we decided to try out seats down low 11 rows up directly behind the flag stand. I was very surprised how good they were. Normally the higher the better but that may just not be the case @ BMS.
