Thank ward22 for this idea:

To attempt to boost forum-participation,let's all try to meet online the evening of July 19th.Try to break a few records for forum particpation.Just log-on and say hi on that date.
 
I am sorry to say that I will be out of town and away from my computer that weekend. I will be with you guys in spirit though. I will be going to Dallas to the Alabama Concert, their final tour. I hope ya'll set the new record.
 
I am bummed I probably won't be able to do it either. My daughter has a cheerleading competition out of town and I am not sure if I will be back....the time is 6pm right?

Ya'll aren't going to the concert by chance? I am not really a Alabama fan but they are alright and there is 10 of us going without kids and we will stay all weekend. I am looking forward to it. :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

OOOPS, can't make it, I'll be at Old Timers Day at Yankee Stadium, but I'll be thinking of you all and will try to say hi before I leave for the game! :)

Should we change the date, It seems like everyone will be gone.
 
Maybe you should do a poll,Ward....see what date would produce the most numbers.Also one of you smart young guys should run stats and see when the peak hours and days of the week are.Just food for thought.We need to try to break the record!The brass could supply the numbers and one of you generationZ computer whizzes could then calculate when the odds would be greatest to make sure we blow the old record out of the water.
 
I like the idea of doing a poll. I will not be here as well. Hopefully it can br R/S for I and the other fellas that won't be here that day (19th) can participate.

You know I would love to be here 97, but my daughter has a cheerleading competition, I will be there being the proud mom. :D If there was a way to be here I would definetely be.
 
The 19th is great for me, but I would rather have it in the evening. Say 7 or 8 oclock. We can watch the truck race and chat at the same time. :lurking:

I hope at least 50 people make it too Ward22. I will try to get on, but really don't think I will be back from my daughters competition. I will try though and if I can't I will be thinking of you guys. :cheers:
 
If it ends up and no one shows, I guess we could try again on a later day... :unsure: :(
 
Relax Andrew...the guys wont let the forum down!We will just check the numbers and see how they compare to a regular saturday at 7:00.As long as their is an increase it was a success! :)

And BTW,this will be a great jumping-on point for a lot of those guests that are always on here but undecided about joining.Maybe July 19th can match June 14th 2002 for members joining! :cheers:

It was just one of those Florida type thunderstorms here in Carolina. :D

The realtor who was selling our house called on Friday --- we signed the papers Saturday, and were handed a gorgeous check. :) :) :)

No more $900 a month house payments for an empty house. *whew*
