Folks may not like JJs personality, but I do think he’s the best.
I actually like Tony better as a personality and Harvick is my favorite, but Tony does not match JJ’s consistency. Tony is a streak racer he gets hot and cold, and Kevin needs more maturity, while JJ stays on track.
Jeff hasn’t been Jeff Gordon in years, the dream driver of the 90’s but he is been a grade lower than JJ for quite some time, and he fades in the chase.
Kyle has got more flash, better restarts, better saves, all the wow stuff, but JJ usually beats him in spite of those things.

And Chad does not drive the car anymore than Dale Inman drove for Petty, Ray for Jeff, or anymore than a Junior Johnson did for Cale, or DW, that’s just nothing more than a denial.

IMO he is the most underrated driver of our time.

I'm indifferent when it comes to JJ but it's really hard to argue with that.

JG beat Kyle Busch heads up at Phoenix and out raced JJ heads up at Atlanta last year along with dominating races races at several other tracks in 2011 should have secured Jeff a place on the list. I'm guessing his exclusion is either the result of animosity or some kind of joke.

Maybe there is 2nd round, run offs etc, with plans for Jeff in the next round, who knows?

At least you have some other Chevy choices. There isn't a single Dodge guy to choose from.

Kyle Busch, no question. Like him or not, he could find a way to win driving a garbage truck. Johnson is obviously good, but much more dependent on top-drawer equipment and a, um, 'savvy' crew chief.

Busch beats him six ways to hell. Tantrums and fits and all, lol.

Kyle Busch gets my vote, yes a Jr fan voting for Kyle Busch shocking isn't it? I don't like him but he's the best driver out there today.

Kyle still wrecks when he has a bad car. He's still doing it this year. JJ is a far more consistant driver, IMO. Kyle has 23 wins with 260 starts. That's less than an 8% win percentage. Very good, but not great.

JJ has 55 wins with 366 starts, and 5 championships. Kyle isn't even in his league. All the NW and truck hype has pumped him up to rediculous levels.

All drivers are dependent on having a good car in order to win. Stewart is a 3 time champion with 45 wins but he got lapped like 4 times at Bristol last year because he had a bad car. Kyle Busch crashed his Nationwide car and hasn't even been in contention in that series because he hasn't got his cars to drive right yet. All these guys are good but they have to have a good car as well.

I think Kenseth should be on the list for sure. I guess I think Earnhardt SHOULD be as well, .but something has never seemed right for him at HMS. I'm not a huge fan---but he's better than he has ever shown there IMO.

Gordon? Johnson did to him what video did to the radio star, rightly or wrongly.

Stewart should always be on a list like this and Carl is better than his detractors will admit, skill wise.

Harvick, on the other hand, should be driving a damned cab.

Daytona 500 winner, Brickyard 400 winner, All Star winner and Coke 600 winner

Good point an at least with that experience he should be able to get Biffle or Newman to the airport on time in a year or so. :XXROFL:
