Racing innovator Bill Simpson tackles football

Mods can move this thread if they fell it's necessary it's just that I found it to be an interesting article about how our sport may be helping others. If you know NASCAR then you know Bill Simpson. Simpson, an innovator of safety equipment in the racing industry, has apparently come up with a newly designed football helmet that could provide much needed protection to those participating in that sport. He and Chip Ganassihave partnered up to start mass production of the newly designed helmet.

This is good to see. Hanging 5 extra pounds on someones neck never seemed like a good idea. I wonder what he did to improve the hard padding inside they have been using.
