Sorry, I guess he was too fast for me to shoot. I was in the stands for this race. The pit pictures are what I could get. Plus it was 100 F out there and I wasn't thinking straight...Sorry...

I use a Canon 10D with a 70-200mm 2.8 lens and a 1.4x adapter. Since it is a 6.2 megapixel camera, then I can crop the photos pretty close to get that "up close and personal" feeling.
 
I figured you had to be doing something like that. I need to get a longer lens for mine to use at Bristol. Good job on the pics.

Thanks. I would love to shoot at Bristol. I am going to try to get into the pits for the Labor Day race out here. Give you guys a different perspective of the race. Since Cal. Speedway stole that race from the South.

That would be cool. I'm afraid if you went to Bristol, you wouldn't want to go to another track. It's so much different.

Well normally, I shoot dirt track racing, but I have to get my NASCAR fix every now and again. I would love to see the World Of Outlaws at Bristol. I am sure they tear it up there.

I wish mine came out half as good as yours and turtles does, guess when i get my graduration money i need to get a fancy cam! :lol:
 
we're gonna be in the pits for the race in september wideopen......so guess if I see someone with a wideopen cam..I'll know it is you..... :lol: :lol: see you in September........ :D
 
I will do what I can to sneek in or come up with a good excuse to work there. Also if any of you guys want information of the Richard Petty School, I work for them when they come to CA Speedway. Hopefully I will see you there. If you haven't done it yet, try it... it is a blast.
